2009 was the 5th year that Di returned to Rjukan, Norway.

Having deliberated for some time, Di has decided not to return to Norway for the 2010 season.  The main reason for this is that she will be leading an Expedition to South America in January to tackle another one of those Seven Summits.

Not wanting to miss out on the Scottish Winter Season, she feels that it would be good to spend some time on home soil.

Di wil be working for the Mountaineering Council of Scotland in January 2011 on their Norway ice climbing courses.
This is the first international ice climbing training week organised by the MCofS based in Rjukan.  Dates: Sunday 16th January – Friday 21st January 2011.
