prohet walls

the cliffs at cummingston are composed of a softish sandstone with fluted holds and other wind-eroded features.  The climbs are short and steep, even overhanging, often on big flaky holds after a difficult undercut start.

sand is a major issue on the popular stacks area, but the prophet walls are not nearly badly effected.

cummingston is also an excellent venue for furtling in the pools :)
