lundy island

lundy island

"Lundy lies off the coast of North Devon, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the British Channel with nothing between it and America.

A lump of granite about 3.5 miles long x 0.5 miles wide that rises 400 foot out of the sea.

Lundy's flora and fauna is so rich and diverse that most of the Island is a Site of Special Interest and the seas surrounding it are England's only statutory Marine Nature Reserve." Lundy Shore Office.

More information on Lundy Island can be found here.

Once the bird's have left the island having done what birdie tweeties do best, the climbers arrive.

You might not be tripping over the birds as you disembark the ferry but you will be tripping over all the stars that accompany the routes.
