On Monday, Di was joined by Rich Bentley and Dave Hollinger for an adventure on Ben Nevis.

We (OK, Rich) had loads of ideas and we finally opted for that well known route called Sidewinder on the South Trident Buttress.

A 75m HVS 5a in summer which provides 3 short sharp pitches before you can relax and enjoy the remainder of the route.

An amazing day on the Ben with Sioux Wall and Babylon also being climbed.

Normal service resumed on Tuesday, when Di & Rich headed into Stob Coire nan Lochan in Glencoe and climb the 3*** classic Scabbard Chimney on Summit Buttress.  Desperate conditions forced a retreat after the second pitch.
