aconcagua expedition 2010
During the 22nd & 23rd January, 16 team members from the Adventure Peaks Aconcagua Expedition stood on the summit of Aconcagua.
"The Republic of Argentina is the second largest country of South America, and the eight largest in the world. It's area is about 30% that of the United States, and it achieved independance from Spain in 1816."

Aconcagua was first climbed in 1897 by the Swiss, Matthias Aurbriggen via the Normal Route. It wasn't until 1934 that the Vacas Route was climbed by a group of Poles, in whose honour the Polish Glacier was named after.
